Free Fitness Tuesdays: Strength Training

When: Tuesday, June 25, 10:00 am

Where: Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium, Downtown Grand Haven

Strength Training, 10:00 – 11:00 am – Strength training is an important part of any fitness program. Muscular strength helps you burn fat, increase bone density, avoid injuries and build confidence just to name a few benefits! Tri-Cities YMCA staff will demonstrate exercises you can take home and use as a part of your fitness program.

About Free Fitness Tuesdays: Summer is here and it is time to get outside and play! North Ottawa Community Health System and our collaborating partners are giving you an opportunity to sample some fun things to get you outside and be active! This is your chance to try yoga, Pilates, meditation, strength training or a historical walking tour! Bring a friend or two and join us for some summer fitness fun.

Dress appropriately for the weather and for the classes! Bring a water bottle, yoga mat (or blanket) where applicable; wear supportive shoes for the walking tours. All classes are FREE and located at the new Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium.
