COVID Testing Options

Need a COVID test? Here are some testing options in our area.

Call your Primary Care Provider – Your PCP can write an order for you to be tested in the NOCH Lab. This option is covered by most insurances.

Urgent Care – You can walk into NOCHS’ Urgent Care for testing (and treatment if deemed necessary by the provider). This will be charged as a standard Urgent Care visit to your insurance.

The NOCHS Emergency Department is NOT a COVID testing site. Please use the ER for emergency care only.

Local Pharmacies – Most large pharmacies (like Walgreens) provide drive-thru PCR or rapid testing. Visit their websites to schedule an appointment. Prices may vary based on location.

Health Department – The Ottawa County Health Department offers FREE pop-up testing at a variety of locations throughout West Michigan. You can see all of them here:

At-Home Test Kits – These are also available at most pharmacies. Please ask someone to obtain a testing kit for you if you know you are supposed to be in quarantine. You may report any positive cases to the Ottawa Health Department here:
