North Ottawa Urgent Care Is Better Than Ever.
Your child spikes a fever Tuesday night. Your husband cuts his hand while repairing the window on Saturday. You trip on the steps leaving work and can’t put weight on your foot. What should you do? Visit North Ottawa
When Should You Visit Urgent Care?
Urgent Care is an important part of the health services continuum in any community. It’s the perfect place for those important but not life-threatening health needs that can’t wait until the next day or after the weekend. Think of it as an extension of your primary care doctor’s office when you need immediate help.
What’s New at North Ottawa Urgent Care?
North Ottawa Urgent Care is conveniently located in the retail center at the corner of US-31 and Taylor, right next to Panera Bread. We have just completed some significant upgrades and additions to make our service better than ever:
- Expanded hours and staff, including three new physicians and six mid-level providers
- New services, including x-ray, sutures, setting broken bones
- More exam rooms for shorter wait times
What’s even more convenient is that Urgent Care is electronically connected to our physician offices. So when you’re ready for follow-up care, your North Ottawa Medical Group doctor will be able to see exactly what happened and what treatment you received. You won’t have to repeat your story!
Just remember that Urgent Care is not the place to go with a life-threatening condition. If you have chest pains, for example, or symptoms of a stroke, or a major injury, please make sure you visit the NOCHS Emergency Room. It’s open 24/7, and it’s equipped to handle a crisis.
