On Wednesdays We Wear Pink – A Friendly Reminder to Get Your Mammogram

This October, join NOCHS Breast Evaluation Center (BEC) in reminding every woman to get
their mammogram by wearing pink on Wednesdays. Any woman over the age of 40 should
have this lifesaving health screening once a year. If caught early, breast cancer is treatable.
Screening mammograms take no more than 30 minutes and includes a clinical breast exam
when done at the BEC. We will even make it easy for you.

Grab a friend and start your day on any Wednesday in October by walking into the BEC
for your annual screening mammogram. That’s right, just walk right in, no appointment or
physician referral is needed from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Just be sure to have your insurance
card ready. The BEC is located on the first floor of North Ottawa Community Hospital, inside the Medical Imaging Department.

Questions? Call the Breast Evaluation Center at 616.847.5430.

Walk-In – No appointment needed!
When: Any Wednesday in October from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Where: NOCHS Breast Evaluation Center, 1309 Sheldon Road, Grand Haven
