To Your Health in 2023

What are your health goals for 2023? Whatever they may be, Trinity Health Grand Haven (THGH) can help you achieve them.

Thinking of starting a weight loss journey?
THGH offers three different, non-surgical Medical Weight Loss programs, plus three different laparoscopic (or robotic) options for Bariatric Surgery. Whatever your personal goals are, you will have a full team of Board-certified physicians, coordinators, dietitians, behavioral consultants and exercise physiologists to support you every step of the way in your weight loss journey. Hoping to move better?
Hip and knee replacements are our specialty. THGH is proud to offer Mako Robotic Arm-Assisted for joint replacement surgeries. This latest advancement in orthopedics enables surgeons to provide each patient with a personalized surgical experience based on his or her specific diagnosis and anatomy. We offer Robotic technology for partial knee replacement, as well as total knee and hip replacements. Learn more about our Orthopedic Program here.

Want to finally heal that wound?
Working in collaboration with University of Michigan Health-West’s medical team, our advanced treatments and technology can help heal wounds that have lingered for more than 30 days. Learn about our Wound Healing Center here.

How about sleep better?
Do you feel sleepy all day, even though you’ve had a “good” night’s sleep? Perhaps you have trouble falling asleep, or maybe you snore loudly enough to annoy those around you. Do you have periodic kicking of the legs, gasping for breath or an inability to sleep at the proper time? Maybe it’s time to talk to your doctor about a sleep test to improve your sleep health. Learn about Center for Sleep Disorders here.

Maybe you are looking to improve your quality of life?
If you or a loved one is suffering from a complex, life limiting disease who has pain, nausea, or is frequently in the hospital, you may want to consider Palliative Care. Palliative Care focuses on managing symptoms, controlling pain, improving quality of life and relieving stress for patient and family. The goal is comfort for someone who has a complex, chronic illness that cannot be cured, only managed. It does not replace your primary treatment. Learn more about our Palliative Care program here.

Interested in achieving a healthy lifestyle through diet?
Our dietitians work in partnership with you to achieve and maintain your optimal health. They can develop an individualized plan and education around weight management, diabetes, cardiac conditions, food allergies, Celiac disease, gastrointestinal conditions and more. Learn more about our Health and Wellness program here.

Or maybe you just want to check the preventative care off your list.
We can help with that, too. Our Endoscopy department, Laboratory and Breast Evaluation Center are located within just a few steps of one another, which makes THGH a convenient spot to get it all done in one day should you choose.
